Director of Advocacy

Gail is the Director of Advocacy at SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center and has worked in the Children’s Advocacy Center field for more than 24 years.  Gail received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education from the University of Tennessee in 1984 and worked in the healthcare field for seven years.  In 1997, Gail make a major career change and joined Harbor House, the Children’s Advocacy Center in Rome, Georgia.  There she served as Administrator for 9 years and as Executive Director for 11 years.   In 2017, when Gail and her husband relocated to Cobb County, she joined the team at SafePath.  As the Director of Services at SafePath Children’s Advocacy, Gail supervises the Intervention Department which includes forensic interviewing, advocacy and medical services.  Outside of work, Gail enjoys reading, working jigsaw puzzles, traveling with friends and spending time with her family, which always involves a lot of game playing!
