Claire, LCSW is the Director of Intervention and a forensic interviewer at SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center. Claire is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with close to a decade of clinical, forensic, and case management experience working with children and families in crisis. Claire is the former Clinical Director of the Paulding Children’s Advocacy Center and the CSEC Response Team Liaison at the Receiving Hope Center where she developed a clinical internship program, provided clinical supervision, conducted forensic interviews, and supervised staff. She had been conducting forensic interviews since 2014, and her training includes ChildFirst Forensic Interview Basic Training, ChildFirst Expanded Forensic Interview Training, Advanced ChildFisrt Forensic Interview Training, Cornerhouse Forensic Interview Training, various FBI forensic interviewing trainings, CSEC forensic interview training, and statewide peer review. She has conducted and coordinated hundreds of forensic interviews for various state and federal law enforcement agencies. Claire’s passion for working with youth comes from her time providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention/assessment to child and adolescent victims of abuse, neglect, and sexual exploitation at a psychiatric residential treatment facility. She has been part of a two-year-long cohort dedicated to the training and development of MDT Facilitators through the Southern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center. She understands the complexities of navigating through the various systems we work with and the importance of coordinating with stakeholders. Claire enjoys working with graduate schools and mentoring new clinical social workers. In her free time, she enjoys her animals, working in her yard, watching soccer, going to comedy shows, and spending time with family and friends.
