Krystina is the Director of Forensic Services at SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center, where she oversees the forensic interviewing department and conducts forensic interviews with children and adolescents regarding allegations of abuse. Krystina holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has conducted over a thousand forensic interviews and completed extensive specialized training through nationally recognized organizations. She is also a qualified expert witness and has provided training to forensic interviewers and multidisciplinary professionals. Krystina brings a wide range of experience working with youth who have experienced significant trauma. Prior to returning to SafePath, she was part of the CACGA CSEC Response Team, where she supervised advocates, worked closely with youth impacted by human trafficking, and delivered statewide trainings to professionals and community partners. Her additional experience includes serving as a Victim Witness Advocate in the Fulton County judicial circuit and as a Lead Behavior Specialist in a psychiatric residential treatment facility.
