Daya graduated from Georgia State University in 2025 with a Master of Public Health. Prior to joining SafePath, Daya gained experience working with diverse communities through research and community-based roles, including interning with the National Center for Child Trafficking, where she contributed to projects focused on cultural competence and health equity. Daya came to SafePath driven by her passion for supporting children and families and ensuring that language is never a barrier to receiving compassionate, high-quality care. As an Advocate at the center, Daya provides support, community resources, and crisis intervention services to families served by the Intervention Department, with a focus on meeting the unique needs of bilingual and Spanish-speaking clients. In her free time, Daya enjoys reading, karaoke, traveling, and spending time with her husband and her beagle, Archie.
