Intervention Support Associate

Santiago is an Intervention Support Associate at SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center. Santiago has over 12 years of experience serving children from diverse and multicultural backgrounds in the United States and overseas. Santiago received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, in Ecuador in 2011. He continued his education and gained a Master of Science through the State University of New York in 2014. Santiago has previous investigative experience working with at-risk populations through the Sheriff’s Office in Florida’s Gulf Coast, as well as conducting forensic interviews in Charlotte, NC. Santiago has training in different nationally recognized forensic interviewing protocols and currently conducts interviews with children in English and Spanish. Outside of work, Santiago enjoys running, lifting weights, watching professional soccer, and spending as much time as possible at the beach with family and friends.
