Jinger has served as Board Chair of the state organization Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia. Ms. Jinger has served as an expert witness in the field of child abuse and provides training at the local, state, and national levels. She is a certified facilitator for the Stewards of Children educational program and was previously named Outstanding Facilitator. Jinger also serves on the State of Georgia’s Child Fatality Committee. Jinger received the Woman of Distinction Award in 2003. She was a primary advocate in the collaborative partnership between Kennesaw State University and the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia and Gundersen National Child Protection Training Center, resulting in the implementation of the CAST curriculum/certificate at Kennesaw State University.
Jinger’s proudest accomplishments are 50 years of marriage, two beautiful granddaughters and being the mother of a 39 year-old son (completing his PhD in psychology) and a 34 year-old daughter (with a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an Esthetician License).
