Jinger, SafePath CEO, has worked in the fields of child development, child advocacy and child abuse for over 40 years. Jinger has a Masters Degree in Psychology with a specialty in Applied Behavioral Analysis from Drake University and is published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management. With over 30 years of experience in the development, management, and oversight of nonprofit organizations including start-ups, mergers, and restructures, Jinger was selected as the founding Executive Director for SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center, Inc. and has served in that capacity since 1995.

SafePath, under the direction of Jinger became a National and State accredited children’s advocacy center, won the Georgia Association of Homes and Services for Children Outstanding Agency Award and the Creating Community Award by the Cobb Board of Commissioners for leadership in connecting diverse communities to address a vital need in the community.

Jinger has served as Board Chair of the state organization Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia. Ms. Jinger has served as an expert witness in the field of child abuse and provides training at the local, state, and national levels. She is a certified facilitator for the Stewards of Children educational program and was previously named Outstanding Facilitator. Jinger also serves on the State of Georgia’s Child Fatality Committee. Jinger received the Woman of Distinction Award in 2003. She was a primary advocate in the collaborative partnership between Kennesaw State University and the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia and Gundersen National Child Protection Training Center, resulting in the implementation of the CAST curriculum/certificate at Kennesaw State University.

Jinger’s proudest accomplishments are 50 years of marriage, two beautiful granddaughters and being the mother of a 39 year-old son (completing his PhD in psychology) and a 34 year-old daughter (with a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an Esthetician License).
